CLEAN ENERGY POLICY STRATEGIES CONSORTIUM

Specializing in Clean Energy Policy Implementation and Development to Achieve Our Clients' Energy Expansion and Transition Objectives

PRACTICE AREAS

OUR EXPERTISE

At Clean Energy Policy Strategies, we focus on transparency and results, establishing concrete objectives that lead to our clients' identified deliverables.

CLEAN ENERGY PROJECTS: POLICY AND POLITICAL SUPPORT

We provide our clients analysis and strategic application of clean energy policy for their energy, residential, commercial, and industrial projects. We focus on existing development and new construction, and help our clients leverage relevant federal, state, and local energy and clean energy policies.

While employing effective stakeholder and political engagement strategies, our issue coverage includes but is not limited to clean energy tax incentives; utility policy; the IRA residential rebate programs; the $27 billion IRA Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund (GGRF); climate finance; demand flexibility; virtual power plants; low-income and disadvantaged communities; and others.

CLIMATE FINANCE: POLICY INTEGRATION AND DEVELOPMENT

At Clean Energy Policy Strategies we apply existing climate finance policy to assist our clients in achieving their clean energy objectives-- and when current policy is not enough, we work with our clients and others to identify needed legislative and regulatory solutions. To effectively achieve our clients' objectives, we couple our policy efforts with strategic stakeholder and political engagement.

Clean Energy Policy Strategies exhibits decades of experience in the finance and climate finance space, including participation in major policy developments,  including but not limited to Gramm-Leach-Bliley, Dodd-Frank, New Markets Tax Credit Program, and the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund.

CLEAN ENERGY POLICY DEVELOPMENT AND SUPPORT

STAKEHOLDER AND POLITICAL ENGAGEMENT

Although the energy transition is often viewed through the lens of subtraction-- a reduction in carbon emissions, at Clean Energy Policy Strategies we also see the transition through the lens of addition-- the need for all hands on deck. As a result, we work on both sides of the aisle and across all sectors of the energy economy to help ensure our clients' leadership in the energy transition and expansion.

Multiple federal and state-led clean energy initiatives require direct tie-ins to community benefits and strategies, particularly as related to low-income and disadvantaged communities. Our team has decades of experience in these communities and with elected officials who represent them, including in rural and urban parts of the country. Through effective stakeholder and political engagement we help our clients develop policy, strategies, and projects that result in a win for the client, and a winning impact for the community.
